Off to Yorkshire we go!

Arch Sinfonia to perform at Yorkshire's Swaledale Festival

We're fortunate to have been invited to perform at the Swaledale Festival in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. Founded in 1972, the Swaledale Festival is an annual festival of music and arts based in the three most northerly Yorkshire Dales - Swaledale, Wensleydale and Arkengarthdale - a large rural area of outstanding beauty. Festival venues range from tiny chapels seating fewer than fifty people to halls seating several hundred.

We're going to be joined by horn player, Mark Smith, who will perform Wagner's own arrangement of the tone poem, Siegried Idyll. Alongside this, the Arch Sinfonia will perform Mark's arrangement of Bruckner's 7th Symphony.

Tickets for the concert are available here.
