Chloé van Soeterstède - FOUNDER & ARTISTIC DIRECTOR

Chloé van Soeterstède is the Artistic Director of the Arch Sinfonia. Chloe has served as Assistant Conductor of Sir Mark Elder with the Halle Orchestra, Juanjo Mena, Yan Pascal Tortelier and John Storgards with the BBC Philharmonic, Vasily Petrenko and Cristian Mandeal with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra.

Born in France, Chloé studied viola at the Royal Academy of Music before beginning a Masters in conducting at the Royal Northern College of Music.

jonathan gibson - PROJECT CO-ORDINATOR

Jonathan is the Project Co-ordinator for the Arch Sinfonia. Born in London, he read Music at the University of Manchester before studying for a Masters in Performance on the Cello at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He regularly performs as principal cello with orchestra's across London such as the Arch Sinfonia, the Asyla Ensemble, Westminster Philharmonic Orchestra and Covent Garden Chamber Orchestra. He has performed under Gustavo Dudamel, Sir Colin Davis and Sir Simon Rattle amongst others.

Anais Laugenie - TREASURER

Anais was born in Cannes, and began her studies as a cellist at the CRR de Paris. She moved to London to study at the Royal College of Music, where she also participated in an exchange program with the Manhattan School of Music. She now studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

Anais is the treasurer of Arch Sinfonia, and is dedicated to its work in London and across the UK.

Silvija Šcerbaviciute - FIXER

Lithuanian flautist Silvija Šcerbaviciute studies with Michael Cox and Helen Keen and the Royal Academy of Music. . Silvija has performed as a soloist with the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra, Lithuanian Symphony Orchestra and Croydon Symphony Orchestra. She was a finalist in the Croydon Concerto Competition in 2015 and won third place at the Bromsgrove International Young Musicians Competition.

ANAIS PONTY - FIXER

Born in France, Anaïs started playing the violin at the age of four. After studying Violin and Chamber Music at the Conservatoire of Limoges and Musicology at the University of Bordeaux, she obtained her Master of Arts in Violin Performance at the Royal Academy of Music in London, studying under Mateja Marinkovic. She has performed with the Southbank Sinfonia, Orchestra of Limoges and the Real Philharmonie of Galicia.

Mark Heron - Trustee

Mark Heron is a Scottish conductor known for dynamic and well-rehearsed performances across an unusually wide range of repertoire, and his expertise as an orchestral trainer.

As guest conductor he has appeared with the, BBC Philharmonic, Philharmonia, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Manchester Camerata, Psappha, Meininger Hofkapelle, Orquesta Sinfónica de la Región de Murcia, Pori Sinfonietta, St Petersburg Festival Orchestra and many more. He has given world premieres of works by Heiner Goebbels, Magnus Lindberg, Sir James McMillan, Colin Matthews and Mark Anthony Turnage.
